Hyderabad Metro Creates Green Corridor, Transports Donor Heart in 13 Minutes

Hyderabad: In a groundbreaking effort, Hyderabad Metro Rail on January 17 facilitated the transportation of a donor heart via a green corridor, completing the 13-kilometer journey in just 13 minutes. This swift transfer helped save crucial time in the life-saving heart transplant procedure.

The heart was transported from Kamineni Hospitals in LB Nagar to Gleneagles Global Hospital in Lakdi-ka-pul. The seamless operation was the result of careful planning and coordination between Hyderabad Metro Rail, medical professionals, and hospital authorities, all under the supervision of attending doctors.

L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) reiterated its commitment to supporting emergency services and contributing to societal welfare by leveraging its state-of-the-art infrastructure.
