Guwahati, Jan 23: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma recently concluded a significant three-day visit to South Korea, aimed at strengthening economic ties and attracting investments for Assam. During his visit, he met with South Korea’s Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Startups, Oh Youngju, to discuss collaboration opportunities.

The meeting centered on potential partnerships between entrepreneurs from Assam and South Korea, particularly in areas that align with global trends and Assam’s growth aspirations.

Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit

The discussions with South Korean leaders and businesses were a precursor to the highly anticipated Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit, which is scheduled for February 25-26 in Guwahati. This summit aims to position Assam as a top destination for global investors by showcasing the state’s potential in sectors like technology, energy, and innovation.
