Dibrugarh, Jan 23: Assamese singer Bidisha Hatimuria has earned significant recognition by securing the third runner-up position in the 2024 edition of Zee TV’s popular music reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
Hailing from Duliajan in Dibrugarh district, Bidisha impressed both judges and viewers with her powerful and consistent performances throughout the competition, ultimately earning her spot among the top finalists. Though she did not win the title, her journey on the show has garnered her national attention and solidified her place in the music industry.
In a closely contested grand finale, Shradha Mishra from Mumbai was crowned the winner, after intense competition with five other talented finalists: Ujwal Motiram Gajbhar, Subhasree Debnath, Bidisha Hatimuria, Parvathi Meenakshi, and Maharshi Sanat Padya. The finalists were mentored by renowned music industry figures such as Guru Randhawa, Sachin-Jigar, and Sachet Parampara.
