BSF Seizes Contraband and Rescues Cattle along Indo-Bangladesh Border in Tripura

Agartala, Jan 16: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Tripura have successfully foiled multiple smuggling attempts. During operations, BSF troops rescued four cattle and seized 350 kgs of sugar, 4.5 kgs of ganja, and other contraband items, with a total value of ₹11,84,342.

In addition, BSF recovered Bangladeshi Taka 10,565. The actions were carried out as part of routine security measures along the border to prevent smuggling and other illegal activities.
