DPIIT Partners with Rukam Capital to Boost India’s Startups

New Delhi: The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has partnered with Rukam Capital and Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation to accelerate the growth of India’s startup ecosystem.

The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Monday, will focus on empowering product startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs nationwide through dedicated programs and initiatives.

The partnership will provide access to crucial resources, including infrastructure, mentorship networks, funding opportunities, market connections, and a comprehensive knowledge repository. Support will also be offered for prototype development and strategic guidance for international expansion.

“This collaboration…is about building a stronger foundation for product startups in India,” said Sanjiv, Joint Secretary, DPIIT. “By combining industry expertise, capital, and strategic mentorship, we are creating an environment where innovators can turn ideas into market-ready solutions. This initiative is not just about growth—it’s about enabling startups to compete globally, drive meaningful innovation, and contribute to India’s economic transformation.”

Sanjiv noted that both Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation and Rukam Capital have committed to developing focused programs to nurture product startups and innovators.
