Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) program, which aims to ease exam stress for students, will take place in a new format this year, featuring several renowned personalities.
Joining PM Modi in the interactive session will be Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, boxer Mary Kom, Olympic gold medalist Avani Lekhara, nutrition expert Rujuta Divekar, actor Vikrant Massey, and YouTube sensation Technical Guruji, among others.
The event, organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy, will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi in a town hall style. The initiative, which has gained significant popularity since its inception in 2018, seeks to transform the pressure of board exams into a celebration of learning.
This year’s edition will include motivational talks and advice from these personalities alongside the Prime Minister.
Pariksha Pe Charcha has witnessed remarkable growth, with the 2025 edition attracting over 3.56 crore registrations, marking a significant rise from the 2.26 crore registrations of the previous year.
The program has become a nationwide movement, focusing on promoting mental well-being and encouraging students to view exams as a festival—Utsav—rather than a source of stress.
In preparation for the main event, a series of activities were conducted across schools nationwide from January 12 to January 25, 2025. These activities included traditional games, creative competitions, yoga sessions, and student-led discussions, engaging over 1.42 crore students and 12.81 lakh teachers.
The program aims to not only reduce stress but also help students perform better by fostering a positive mindset and holistic education.
