Bengaluru, Feb 14: President of India, Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated the 10th International Women’s Conference of the Art of Living in Bengaluru on Friday, emphasizing the rise of India’s Nari Shakti (women power) and the growing influence of women across all sectors.
In her address, the President highlighted the significant strides women have made in fields such as science, sports, politics, art, and culture, urging them to dream big and use their potential to achieve their goals.
She stated that every small step taken by women towards their dreams contributes to the nation’s progress and development.
The President also discussed the impact of technological advancements on the quality of life but stressed the importance of maintaining human values such as compassion, love, and unity.
She noted that women possess a unique ability to lead with compassion, making a positive impact on families, communities, and global relationships.
Furthermore, President Murmu applauded the Art of Living’s initiatives in education, emphasizing that educating children is one of the most valuable investments in humanity’s future.
She also urged the participants to address pressing global challenges, including climate change, and to work together on environmental conservation.
The event brought together women leaders and change-makers, focusing on empowering women and promoting principles of peace and spiritual growth.
