Agartala, Jan 17: Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated an Art and Craft Exhibition at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala on Friday, marking the ongoing Police Week 2025 celebrations. The exhibition showcases 252 pieces of artwork created by police personnel, offering a glimpse into their artistic skills beyond their official duties.
The event was attended by Director General of Police (DGP) Amitabh Ranjan, who, along with CM Saha, lauded the creative contributions of the state’s police force. The exhibition is expected to draw visitors from all walks of life, providing an opportunity to appreciate the hidden talents of law enforcement officers.
In a post on social media, CM Saha expressed his admiration for the exhibition, stating, “Today, I visited the Art & Craft Exhibition organised as part of Tripura Police Week 2025 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala. The vibrant exhibition, brought to life by creative artworks, is captivating.”
Earlier, CM Saha participated in the Sharad Samman 2024 ceremony hosted by the Agartala Municipal Corporation, where he presented awards to winning clubs and puja committees in various categories. Additionally, he paid tribute to His Holiness Pujya Maharaj during a special ceremony marking the Diamond Jubilee of Bardowali Shankaracharya Vidyayatan Girls’ Higher Secondary School, established in 1965.
