In viral images and videos shared on social media, Vicky was seen performing Shiv Puja inside the temple, accompanied by priests who guided him through the sacred ritual.

Chhaava, a historical drama, features Vicky Kaushal as the legendary Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

The film also stars Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna and is set to depict Sambhaji’s reign, beginning with his coronation in 1681.

During a recent promotional event in Jaipur, Vicky spoke about the preparation required for his role. He emphasized the challenges of portraying a historical figure, saying, “A biopic demands significant preparation, not just for the actor but for the entire team. Recreating a historical era on screen is tough, given the budget and scale involved.”

He also detailed his physical and mental preparation, including action training and research into the history of the time.

Chhaava is set for release in theatres on February 14, 2025. Following this, Vicky Kaushal will star as the legendary warrior sage Parashurama in Mahavatar, a mythological film slated for release in December 2026.
